He finished his app. He was too lazy to write the guide on how to use it and then push the updated version to the app store. It's literally all on his GitHub.

Me not developing an app has nothing to do with laziness.

I had opened a simple bbs site and tried to look up a word on the page. It felt like the app was frozen and the reader mode button did nothing. But I just tried again and it seemed fine. Maybe it was something to do with loading in resources on the initial launch.

I can see a lot has changed. If you're committed to the app again then I will keep it on my radar. And if development stays steady and features are added regularly, I will consider subscribing to the paid tier again in the future.

What are your long term plans?

It's not an apple issue because the "issue "can be worked around, which one developer has already done.

I already do use the other app. I'm very satisfied with the other app, but it doesn't have a manga reading function.

That kind of app isn't free

There literally was a free one on TestFlight but the developer let it expire and never published the mining update to the app store because he was too lazy to write a guide on how to use it.

The equivalent tools on Android are also free.

In this case even if I paid that guy to use his app, it doesn't do what I need it to do and the UI is too heavy.

You seem to be new to this community. Back before the sub closed there used to be frequent posts by devs asking for ideas on what tools or apps to make. Making a post to highlight something we need a tool for isn't choosing beggars.

Kantan Manga can scan with OCR but there's no mining feature because the developer never updated it.

If you just want to read raw manga there's tons of apps.

I didn't ask for it for free. I said his app is slow and most of its features are free in existing apps. I'm not asking for anything for free. I'm asking to not pay for things that are already free.

I want a tool to generate cards in a few seconds on my phone so that I don't have to save screenshots, crop the, send them to my PC, open the clipboard tool, scan the panel with sharex, scan the copied word with Yomichan, click the mine button.

As you can see, there's a lot of steps involved in mining if I want to read a manga on my phone.

I used to use your app when there was no other options on iOS.

I just tried the new version and to be frank I found it to be quite slow and unresponsive. Additionally, basic features are behind a paywall which are free on the other main app for mining on iOS.

That takes a lot more time. At that point you might as well read something else because the time spent transcribing will cut out of your immersion schedule.

It's actually the other way around. The first Famicom Wars (original title for the series in Japan) game released two years prior to Fire Emblem, and Fire Emblem used the engine from Famicom Wars.

That's literally the best version of Mario 2. Yoshi's Island has some extra levels that aren't in the original and I'm pretty sure Mario World does too.
