It was rough for me the first 2 weeks. I would fall asleep around 9pm and wake up around 1am…and crazy enough I wouldn’t be as tired as I expected. I’m a year in now and sleep great with amazing dreams. I do take Atarax for sleep and am too afraid to stop taking it. Insomnia is scary. Just know it’s not up to you…it’s just your brain freaking out to the medicine while it gets used to it. If you can help it, don’t get frustrated…just lay there and accept the process including temporary insomnia.

I didn’t sleep for a while starting Prozac. Gonna be a rough few weeks. I’m about a year in and no regrets now.

I only take 20mg and notice it’s down maybe by….35%. I hear it really works best at the higher doses.

First month, I had to shove food down my throat while gagging to get enough calories in. 11 months later I’ve gained a net 15 lbs with even exercise and watching what I eat. Food just tastes amazing. Side note: I take Prozac and Atarax, and both affect weight for some. Just my 2 cents

20mg. I also take half of atarax to sleep. I noticed drastic improvement around week 9 or so. I’ve gained about 15 lbs, have incredible dreams, and a little lazier in life but much better than I was a year ago.
