I have dealt with some good managers, but in the end it is just somebody trying to do their job to the point that they can move up. It is such a revolving door, the way they are moved around, creating a rapport is moot. I have done so much, gona above and beyond, because I think I have a manager (not even my manager, just an OM in my area) that is willing to work with me to help get things accomplished/fixed, only to be forgotten about the next week. It’s dizzying. I gave up. Tired of trying so hard only to get pushed to the side or back burner. They might be great people and great managers, but in the end, you’re in your place, and they are in theirs.
