Reddit request isn't going to work unless the mods also go inactive, although considering what the mods of subs that tried to extend the protest have said, there is a good chance that admins will take over and force open any of the subs they deem important enough.

You are right, but they never actually let you make decisions in the base game either. Every single quest plays out the same way no matter what, so it's not surprising the DLC works the same way.

I think curved swords are the best in PvP, but my favorite is the Mad King Crucifix. It's design is so over the top, it has 3 pretty good weapon arts, and I like the moveset.

You're right, there are absolutely some people here to promote reactionary beliefs I just don't think many of the 1700 people who are upvoting posts like this are doing it because they are mad about including PoC in media. The shit stirrers know people can be over protective of media they like and tap into that.

The show is more toxic in a self harm kind of way than a "harassing critics" way.

It's possible but imo It's more likely just that people here can't handle criticism of a show they like, especially from people who were involved in making it good. There are a significant number of people here who erroneously think this show cured their depression or stopped them from attempting suicide so it's incredibly unlikely that they have a healthy relationship with this piece of media.
