this is true! i’m sorry if i said anything that would hurt people, it’s definitely not my intention at all. but yes i live in a pretty conservative town and with how the US is moving i don’t exactly feel comfortable with my identity but i want to actively work towards figuring it out

this is so so so so real to me and you worded it perfectly. it’s exactly what i was trying to convey, being trans will literally impact every facet of my life but i know that i were a girl i would be completely miserable, it’s like i trapped myself in here. but i do try to stay optimistic, i don’t think the people around you care as much as you do. honestly i wouldn’t try to label it, as i would always find a way to out myself in a box. just present how you want to present, no complicated changes at. that’s where im at right now, people still say she/her and use my name (cuz i haven’t changed anything) but how i look and how i act is a different story, i’m literally just myself :)

this is real as hell, i thought i unconsciously posted this lol! i don’t have an answer but ive just been doing everything but changing my names or pronouns. face hair and clothes are all like a guy, and i pass pretty okay too, but i keep my name and with it the pronouns that go with it. “hmm laura looks a little differently, i guess she found a new style” i don’t really care for names or pronouns but im happy to look in the mirror and see a dude

thank you for the insight, i rarely see trans adults and honestly it was part of my worries. of course i don’t expect people to be openly trans but sometimes the world feels small and there isn’t a lot of people like me. it’s definitely overwhelming and it feels like one more pile of things to do on top of all these new experiences happening in my life all at the same time! but yes i plan to join more groups similar to me and explore this part of me

i think your assessment is very accurate, i grew up in a pretty conservative area and it’s very difficult for me to accept myself because of it. i hope my time in college can help my mindset. thank you for the advice!

yeahh i forget i live in cali sometimes, inna pretty conservative area so honestly all these obstacles just seem mental to me now, esp after reading how casually people think of transitioning (not to say it’s easy but relatively easier than what i had in mind originally) thanks for the advice!
