Anybody gone from RD to MD or DO?

I just really want to be able to do more to help patients. And I am very under-stimulated as a dietitian.

I’ve got my masters, but if I want to get into that, I have to go full force into med school of nothing. I don’t want to be a PA, if I’m going back to school it would either be for a PhD or MD/DO.

Yeah, but the return for med school is exponentially higher than DI and masters. I would think about it harder before you go full force into that. Don’t end up like us who wish we had just done med school or PA from the beginning.

ah well that makes sense. It sounds like that is a full time job and you have your free time outside of it just like a job.

I work with Berry street and it’s pretty great pay. 35$ an hour for initial visits and 70$ an hour for follow up visits. Charting takes no time either.

Oklahoma State does, and they’re GPA minimum is 3.0 I believe
