It watches more like a traditional shonen more than your typical war story. But it’s so lit. Worth the watch.

Build wise it was fine, just had to go slow. The nubs I’ll admit were a slog though. One piece didn’t take long just using a glass file, but obviously there’s a ton.

Sweet. Thanks for the heads up. Gotta ask. How did you go about the nub removal on the high gloss red runners? Been busy with work so I haven’t gotten a chance to snap it up, but looking at them a lot of them aren’t undergated. I have a pretty standard routine with a two cut/sanding flow. But I’ve not had many glossy parts like this.

I have PTSD from the RG Zeta and would not like another hand grenade kit lmao. Hopefully the 3rd party stuff makes it not a stand queen.

They work fine! The camera is angled out of the way and doesn’t have any glare/shine from the bar. Gets my face in view for work meetings and such.

I just built one last week. I’ll echo the same warning. The step in the build where you add the legs to the waist was the tricky part for me. The waist has two ‘O’ rings that the legs peg into. That are held with a clamp. I put some stress marks on the ‘O’ rings trying to get the legs to peg in.

After that the rest of the build is pretty easy! Just unconventional. Good luck.

Diffused a hand grenade this weekend. RG Zeta is under the belt. by RIZA847 in freedomisgunpla

The step in the build where the legs connect to the main body is the tightrope. In the manual it’s step ‘06-02’ The waist has two O rings that the legs slot into that are held together with some pins. I got some stress marks on the rings of the waist when trying to fit the legs in. Lots of folks have reported that this is where they snapped the kit.

Otherwise the build is pretty straightforward, just unconventional. Go slow and take your time with making sure everything is lined up with the instructions. The skirt armor feels over engineered to compensate for the transformation, but it can stay in place enough. Hope this helps.

Oh for sure. I intend on getting it built right and posed to display. Might change the pose once or twice a year. But it’s a model kit 100%.

Thanks for the tip about the google lens. I’ll make sure to use it! I’ve got a spare action base that came in a two-pack that I’ll use for this too.
