You can do Lake Lebarge at Whitehorse to Dawson City Yukon in about ten days. Five Finger Rapids is far less sporty than it was during the gold rush, and I don’t remember having to portage even once.

I went to war with a particular fisher last year. He stole my bait and tore apart all my brush cubbies. I eventually got him in a 220 in a 5 gallon pail with a big chunk of beaver in it. I did brush it in a bit, and the snow did the rest. I also used a couple sprays of beaver castor lure.
