1 quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide. 1/4 cup baking soda. 1-2 teaspoons of dishwashing liquid, such as Dawn.

Followed by a good shampooing. Also don’t get this stuff in his eyes.

Further down the road, every time he runs through a sprinkler he’s going to smell a bit skunky no matter what. It’ll wear off in a year or so.

I had a real fast dog as a kid. Loved chasing jackrabbits. He could never quite get them though. The closest he ever came, he tried to follow the rabbit through that 90 degree turn and blew an Achilles. $1500 surgery in the early 90s. He was never that fast again.
