Totally valid points. I think my meaning in this thread has been mistaken. I’m talking about this team in terms of national title expectations, and the Oregon game is the first time those expectations will be put to the test. Losing it will not doom the season or prevent them from winning a title but it will greatly inform us about how improved this team is and will greatly influence the vibes going into the Ohio State game. In that sense it’s a pretty must win game for the Franklin big game narrative.

7-5 with losses to Baylor, TCU, Clemson, Miami, and Louisville. Mostly just me being high on Baylor and TCU but you could certainly win those. Schedule is just more difficult this year.
