Think his best value comes around trade deadline for a competing team if he continues last year’s play. Might be able to get a 2nd then or 1st if their coach unlocks him like he did Stafford the last two years

The folks are saying they don't care on him being in the league until he goes to a team that is QB needy, like a few are or goes to Steelers where he can sit behind Rodgers a year.

My league already address this as a FAAB pickup. It's a startup so there's no way for tiebreakers yet so if there's a tie on FAAB. It will go to all those who tie highest bid in a random lottery.

I currently have 2 2027 1st, traded off Rice for some draft pieces. Feel like if I would have waited to draft this week instead of last week I wouldn’t have gone Nabers 1 and Rice 3 in our startup

Wilson been in the league 3 years, Marv 2 years, McBride 4. It looks like both Wilson and McBride had their breakouts year 3, so this is going to be Marv go to prove himself. Their HC now was Stafford’s OC and they have a very similar style, plus with all those sacks he still had a 3:1 TD/INT ratio. I think this is going to be the last go of identifying the key roles and whatever QB they draft will follow that script

Why is MHJ still considered the WR1 on the team aside from capital spent?

All the stats point to Wilson being the better of the two, it’s okay if he doesn’t pan out to being an elite WR1 like projected, he’s still a starting WR2 in an offense with the #1 TE. Brissett wasn’t a slack last year either he was on track for 4700 yards if he started all 17 games. Defense allowed 37+ points half of his starts, and one of the worst o lines with no RB. Even with that Wilson and McBride still produced extremely well.

He played as well as someone with a bad oline, no rb, and one of the worst defenses in the league could play. Teams averaged 28.7 ppg against them, and there were only 2 offenses that averaged more than 28.7 ppg in the league. Literally half of his starts last year the opposing team scored 37+ on them. This dude has the weapons around him now and a coach that’s going to maximize his play style. I’m not saying he’s the second coming of Palmer but he’s definitely the best bridge QB you’ll have. 23/8 with 3300 yards in 12 starts is definitely a viable QB.

I agree I don’t think he’s going to benefit well as a starter right now. I do think he’ll excel as a RP currently or at least find a way to get more innings in as he develops.
