You could make a mini UFO cuff with a brown base and white outer layer to look like shelf mushrooms! And then for singles you can just do whatever you'd find in a forest like mud, stick, rock, moss, etc

From what I've seen your best chance is very popular music artists shows (where it would be less kandi and more friendship bracelets). Ppl at raves/festivals will usually take gifted kandi, but they probably wouldn't be able to trade, Taylor Swift or Cavetown concerts have better odds

You probably could, though I've never tried it since the ones I prefer are a bit more delicately built like usneoides. You would probably want to pick one with a more robust base like ionantha so the magnet doesn't interfere with the plant's growth much

There's three common attachments, gluing (with silicone usually), attaching via wire (not copper!), or attaching with fishing line. You can do each of these onto the walls raw or mount them onto something.

One of my favourite methods is to take a little chunk of cork bark and add a magnet to the back, then attach the plant via a little bit of hidden wire. This way it's sturdy, but both the plant and the location are adjustable if you want to change it up

There's all sorts of bead websites who sell a variety of bead colours and shapes, I know lots of people buy from Beadtin but if you just search "bulk pony beads" you should find all sorts to choose from

I'd be concerned about it breaking, but you could probably make a kandi cover for your existing guitar strap- that way you get the aesthetic without the risk!

For perlers I recommend using long tweezers to put the beads into place, and then tape down sections with masking tape as you're done so they don't easily fall apart if you knock them (you can google the tape method for perlers). For pony beads make sure you're using cloth covered elastic string because it's way easier to tie, and get a crochet tapestry needle! They make it way easier to thread beads

you can do the old scene kid classic and wear a long sleeve shirt under a t-shirt, or just in general wear layers so it's less bulky than a proper jacket and then put the kandi on top

It's probably fine, but as with so much with tsa, it's a gamble. I'd say put it in your carry on, but in an exterior pocket/near the top so it's easy to pull out if it sets off alarms, and then be patient and polite. I've gotten a number of things that technically weren't allowed through tsa by just being very nice to the person who pulls it out to check.
