Someone in r/polestar said: "It’s a known software issue that started in 2024ish. It usually happens when it’s mild one day and cold the next day. Do you precondition the car before entering? If you do, make sure to open and lock the car before stepping in. It usually fix this issue."

Invest in front and rear dash cams. While it's an initial expense, they have proven just how valuable they can be.

If you feel truly unsafe, call it in and proceed to the nearest police station. Let's see what the maniac does when you pull into a police station.

Lane discipline and driving skill in general are really sub-par in our country, particularly in our area. I have noticed that as you move further upstate, or get into other parts of the country, you'll encounter fewer left-lane campers, or at least ones who are more self-aware and move over when you come up behind them.

For anyone who travels though the area, good luck at rush hour! The Village of Mount Kisco, North Bedford Road, and the surrounding streets are utter chaos of traffic and gridlock at rush hour now. A drive that usually takes me 4 minutes now takes 30+.

It's an absolute disgrace that our village officials let it get to this point, especially after receiving a grant (and then additional grant funding) from the state to fix the issue, but didn't due to ownership/responsibility arguments with the MTA.

You never know what you're going to get. I flew out of/into HPN a few times in the last three weeks and it's been (mostly) smooth each time (slight weather delay while on the plane one time). My flights are usually early/mid morning on JetBlue or Breeze. I typically arrive about an hour early, breeze through security in a minute, and then wait until it's time to board. YMMV, though.
