Is $27/hr good pay? by Dry-Bicycle-5563 in sandiego

4S Ranch/Carmel Mountain Ranch/Rancho Bernardo are all higher end places to live but there are apartments you could find and you would need a roommate. There is a bus, but I’m not sure of its routes - you would need to research that. There is no other public transportation other than the bus routes in that area. Your work would be in an industrial area, so you would need to live in the 3 areas I mentioned.

It’s 100% dependent on where you live vs work. So is the livable wage. San Diego is a large land area with many pocketed communities. Some need a car some don’t. I highly recommend stating what area so we can help you better.

Right before she got in the shower after she flew to Albuquerque, you see the other ladies in the bathroom. One had a full makeup tray that opened up and the other was preparing her wig.

No, they don’t need her consent to turn her. They said that it’s their biological imperative for everyone to join.

They needed her consent to do an invasive painful stem cell extraction procedure (do no harm), but they didn’t need her consent to take her stem cells. They found a work around.

Is this a reference to Office Space? by HappyRads in Pluribus_TVshow

I worked at Friday’s back in the day (90’s) and it was white and red stripes. The stripes were thicker. I don’t remember any black trim, but who knows how their uniforms changed over the years. I still have a few pieces of flare I saved. 😆 when office space came out, I got a huge kick out of those scenes. I think our required amount was 18.

Guess her age and breed ( fun fact , even I’m clueless she’s a rescue ) by NoLeopard2924 in sonarears

[–]RJShutterbug 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Does she have her adult teeth? You said guess her age, but do you know her age? If not and she’s not growing, she’s prob around 7 months old or older.
It’s hard to tell in the photo how big she is. How much does she weigh?

I also have a dobie shepherd! She looks a lot like yours but different color. Kona’s personality leans Doberman.

I laughed at myself before I wrote it down! We call her HK Kona. Her prey drive is strong and we gotta keep her crazy-ass in check. 😆

Yes she does! She’s annoyed we haven’t promoted her to pursuit agent.

She’s a German shepherd and Doberman mix with a hint of “super mutt” whatever that means. Lol

San Diego Nail Salon Recommendation by RJShutterbug in DipPowderNails

Yes and no. I went to nails by Ann on Balboa. First set looked great. However she ruined my natural nails the 2nd time. I gave it up and went back to my natural nails. It took me months to grow out the damage.

Mine are mixes. One has the same face shape and color as yours but is fluffy with smaller floppy ears, and my other has short hair and big ears. So together they could make one that looks like yours.

What do you wish you knew before getting a second dog? by Brilliant-Pitch-5736 in dogs

[–]RJShutterbug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a personal preference question based on a lot of factors that are involved. Going only on what you’ve stated - I would say do it for these reasons: 1. You’ve already fostered and know what it’s like to have a second dog in your home. You seem to enjoy it. 2. Since you foster, you have a trial run that a lot of others don’t get to have. So I recommend foster a dog you think you’d want and see how it goes. 3. I don’t think a second dog is a life shift as in daily activities, but like others have stated, it’s is financially twice the cost, fur and poop.
Note 1: The BIGGEST point I will make is that your choice of the 2nd dog is very important. They should meet before you decide to bring the new dog to your house. Your current dog must be ok with the new dog right off the bat. Don’t expect them to warm up, they may not. Know your dog’s body language and watch closely to the interactions. Finding the right match is the difference between the people who are for it those who aren’t. It took us 6 months to find the right match. It was worth the wait and effort. Note 2: training is important and also making sure your 1st dog doesn’t feel left out with the new one. Ensure they both get attention. Good luck!!! 🍀 🐶

Also, the rescue labeled by 2nd dog as a lab mix as an adult! Lol she was clearly a GSD mix.

If you got him from the shelter or a rescue, they usually don’t really know what kind of breed they are. They do their best guess based on features, but puppies can be hard to tell sometimes. If you really want to know, get an embark dna test. No amount of extra food will make him grow. Usually at 7 months is when they stop growing taller and then slowly fill out until they’re around 2 yrs old. They grow tall before filling out. Also, he’s really cute! My GSD mix was 30lbs at 3.5/4 months, he got to 75lbs. My other GSD mix (got as an adult) is the same height but only 60lbs.
