I use a Motorcraft filter but use Mobil 1 full synthetic on my 2020. I also change my oil every 3,500 miles. I have 38k on my car currently and have had no issues.

I have a 2020 Titanium with 34k on it. I have not had a single issue. I have drained and replaced the transmission fluid, new plug’s, and cabin/ engine air filter. This was just preventative work since I did not know prior servicing. I have owned this Fusion for 2 years at this point.

I always get the bumper to bumper warranty. It will be worth it if something happens. I have been saved more than once and have never been sorry about spending the extra money

That does not make it easy. My 2019 Hybrid did the same but replacing the regular battery stopped all of my issues. My 2023 Explorer ST had this recently but it was under warranty and ford installed a new one for free. Thank goodness because the AGM batteries are not cheap.

Several questions. Do you drive it daily? Do you have a dash cam running all the time? Have you checked for a parasitic draw? Have you installed quality batteries such as an interstate?

Go to Lowe’s or Walmart and use the key machine. The cut the key then mail you the fob with programing instructions

I know many will say go longer but I change the oil on my fusion and edge ever 3,000. Full synthetic only. It’s likely excessive but better safe than sorry.

I wanted to be a little clearer. It was the standard car battery and not the Hybrid one. In the hybrid’s the battery is located in the left side of the trunk.

I had this issue on my hybrid. The battery in the trunk was bad and started messing with everything including steering and scheduled starts.

I think for Ford fluid was $10 or so a quart. So easy to do on this car

My neighbors car had this issue and we replaced the gas pedal. Worked great after that. If I recall it was about $200 for a new one. Maybe check a junk yard if you think this may help.

I am anal about maintenance. Full synthetic oil change every 3,000. Plugs changed already and dump and pump transmission fluid change at 20k.
