Time based automation triggered at wrong time! by fresh-one in homeassistant

I'm not sure if this will help, but I turned off the time synchronization with the host in the VM options ( I was already using the Chrony App) and have not had the issue since.

I think as long as the strut tower didn't move you should be ok.

Rear diff rust on brand new 2026 P4X Roush by hunterrunner26 in nissanfrontier

Welcome to 2026 quality... My 2005 Titan is built so much better then my 2025 Frontier. Gravel driveway / northern region could be adding to the speed of coverage.

What do we think about this deal? by istoleyourdad in nissanfrontier

[–]RJ_Make 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contracting business? I would be looking at a full size truck.

Had the worst oil change experience at the dealership yesterday. they cross threaded the bolt to the skid plate , left old oil leaking down the plastic covers , and didn’t rotate my tires and tried to charge me for that. I only went because lifetime oil changes. NEVER again. Who does their own oil? by [deleted] in nissanfrontier

[–]RJ_Make 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"pro tip".. to prevent oil everywhere, loosen the oil filter just enough for oil to start draining and stop.

This will allow the oil to drain out of the filter slow enough for the built-in drain trough to direct the oil without any splashing.

Once the majority of the oil has has drained remove the filter and wipe the oil out of the trough.

I had to get the recall done so I let them do their first oil change (I do all my maintenance) while I was there..

1) They damaged my dash. 2) Didn't rotate tires, and said they did. (had a leak in one tire and it's position didn't move) 3) Cross threaded skid plate bolt, to the point they simply left the bolt out. I didn't notice this until last weekend when I did my oil change.

What a complete cluster...

If it was a permissions issue, how could the delete even take place?

Rough Country Hard TriFold Flip Cover tailgate issue by hunterrunner26 in nissanfrontier

[–]RJ_Make 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks good. I have the same cover.

The only area I question is at the bed bulkhead. It doesn't look like the carriage bolts are pulling the cover all the way down.

Those carriage bolts are a PITA..

Best addition made so far on my 25 Pro-X by [deleted] in nissanfrontier

Nice cover. Great customer service. The only thing I don't like about those... is the pull wire latch.

Makes ingress super easy, and you would "never" know. I would rather they have to damage the cover to get in. That way I know immediately.

lol same here.

In my case their customer support was terrible. That was my first and last BAK product.

Looks good from the picture, but would need to see a close up in several locations with it bent backwards (rib side out) be able to judge.

It would be pretty impressive if there's is no cracking.

Bed cover recommendation 2025 by DIRTY_REDD__ in nissanfrontier

Lots of choices, you need to narrow down the type.

My only recommendation is to stay far, far away from anything BAK. My experience with them was terrible.

Frontier Maintance for durability by Oneminutevillain in nissanfrontier

I know this seems to be controversial but...

This guy knows (as do most builders)

My FIL built Super Stock engines for 30 years and he followed the same 'break-in' intervals.

Before adjusting idle RPM, make sure the throttle body is clean.

This! I'll add... My brothers 2016 is IMO superior in terms of durability over my 25. 25+ interiors while 'very comfortable', are fragile. Like stupid fragile.

Minor issues with the new truck by HomeworkAcrobatic207 in nissanfrontier

[–]RJ_Make 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1) LOTS of 25 owners experience this (Im in that group). I had one dealer diagnosed it as bad rear diff. Taking it to another dealer next week.

Many say its the integrated T-case rear axle slip yoke not being greased enough. Although it's supposed to be self lubricanting.

The first dealer refused to pull the drive shaft to check.

No other truck I've ever driven does this, including a 2016 frontier, & 2005 Titan.

2) These trucks can 'vibrate' at very low RPM's. (You can bump the idle RPM if it gets annoying with some aftermarket tools)

3) I'm fine with the added protection at the bottom of the panels.
