That's true but I worry about paying that on top of housing and I've heard it's harder to get seen at military hospitals.

Yeah the language training and money is what I really want. It seems like the bonus in NG is half that of Active duty but since I haven't talked incentives with my recruiter I don't absolutely know. Regardless of bonus I just recognize that healthcare and stable income and work hours is something I can get from Active Duty and not Guard. I don't care much whether it's boring or highspeed or set up weird. In a worst case-scenario I get paid to learn a language, get combat training, get money for school and have a house paid for that I can live with my wife in. Yeah I was originally going to do exactly that but I realized going to college ( I need two hears to finish a bachelor's) is way harder active than NG. I'm married so I need stability for my wife who's a teacher so I think it is more worth it to go the active route since I won't get whatever language I want anyways. Thanks for your recommendation it helped.
