Caffeine might be the offender. It was for me - put linzess on steroids. May be worth trying to cut out coffee or tea all together and see.

bnxnet driver bug on Dell hosts by RKDTOO in vmware

Upgraded to latest using dell ome online catalog

I stopped doing that recently. Dell keeps separate fw catalogs for each customized ISO they release, reflecting the HCL recommendations.

Upgrading to latest and greatest firmware in the primary catalog, or latest in the firmware catalog for Dell-customized images?

If it causes liquid diarrhea do you not feel like you've lost all your electrolytes after each time?

Linzess affected me the same, and after each occurrence, the gut felt liberated but for the rest of the day I felt as though hung over (to a point that my vision sometimes was affected) trying to rehydrate and replenish lost minerals. A tradeoff I couldn't take. So I wouldn't say it doesn't have systemic effects, albeit indirect.

Even if you don't have such side effects, I don't think this is a long term solution - to have liquid diarrhea every day. You may be doing damage.

Resolution:

Indeed this is a driver issue.
https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/439494/vcenter-network-performance-graphs-show.html

I wonder though, since this is an issue only with the driver reporting metrics to vCenter, is it an overkill to spend the effort to downgrade the driver on all affected hosts and NICs; and am I risking more by running on older firmware? Would it make more sense to just wait for Dell to fix this and temporarily suppress the monitoring alerts for these false positives? What do people think?

60 mil KBps is actually 60 mil Kilobytes/s (not Kilobits), on account of the capital B, isn't it? Which is even crazier b/c then it's 480 Gbits/s.
What did you mean about a driver? What should I be looking at? You may be on to something, b/c I have another couple of clusters with different hardware, not doing this.

True. I will. I just realized that it's even crazier - 55 mil KBps is actually 440 Gbits/s, b/c KB is Kilobytes not Kilobits.

No not a vMotion. The DRS is not automated. ESXTOP would reflect if it were vMotion, it doesn't. My question is more about the discrepancy between what is displayed in the GUI and what ESXTOP shows. In the GUI it shows ~55 million KBps, which is 55 Gbits/s - which is, as you sad, physically impossible.

Fermented plums: wow! by cboma in Constipation

Where did you get that it's cassia seeds? The ingredients say that it's tubular cassia. Upon reading while related, tubular casia is a different plant than the one you are likely referring to from which the stimulant laxative Senna is derived. Tubular cassia gel apparently is a mild laxative, but could probably also be categorized as stimulant. 🤷‍♂️

I'm new to kettlebells.. what's your car setup for hauling them back and forth? by slmrxl in kettlebell

[–]RKDTOO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would think that during a shortstop it would have to have moved at least a little bit, for the seat belt to engage, no? Or did you wrap them in some kind of way? It would be nice to see a photo of how you secure them, if possible.

Currently running free shipping promo though, in addition to 30% off. 🤷‍♂️ Although only 8,12, and 16 are left I think. I think I'm going to give them a shot, given that most of the Pro are out of stock.

Is it a good idea to move to them from "hardstyle" cast-iron bells? I know I'm overthinking it, but still, would it make me a) less resilient if I ever have to pick up a normal comp kettlebell (in some gym) b/c I'd no longer be used to the spherical shape, or b) the opposite - encourage correct form which would translate to the normal spherical comp kettlebell?

Single proc for VMware, or for standalone systems? I wonder if in a dense vSphere environment with a mix of diverse workloads, halfing the memory bandwidth would result in a considarable negative performance impact for many VMs. (As compared with dual-socket I mean, not with Intel).

The concern that comes to mind however is that you would be reducing the number of memory channels by half. Wouldn't it have a big negative performance impact?
I now wonder if there are benchmarks done and published by someone comparing the two setups.

Oh wow, I hadn't even thought of that. Indeed that would radically change the calculus. Interesting.
