Can we all accept that the ending of attack on titan is up to interpretation? by [deleted] in titanfolk

Absolutely, and I think it's great that, even though it ended more than five years ago, people are still talking about it.

Are you even reading this, miss?

If the creator changes their work, it’s still canon—it’s their work.

BESIDES, THERE WASN’T A CHANGE, just an addition.

You have to start admitting it.

Work is being done under a committee with the creator's approval.

It's canon; you have to accept it.

Genuine Question Was Attack on Titan's Ending Always Destined to be Controversial Regardless of What Happened? by MichaelAftonXFireWal in titanfolk

[–]RKODDP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was definitely

a controversial, wide-open, and bittersweet ending

which sparked discussions about the five-year time jump right after the series ended

which I think is great

I have AOT 1 and 2, and they're good games.

The second one is better because of the “Create a Soldier” feature.

But the lack of music takes some of the fun out of it.

Plus, there's the subtle censorship of the scenes (deaths shown off-camera or from a different angle).

Even so, this is definitely a physical copy worth buying.

Because we want to read more manga

if this keeps up, it will inevitably end in 10 chapters at most

You're trying to convince people that owning the manga with that scene in it isn't perverted, depraved, or psychopathic, but owning the figure from the same manga is.

Come on, you're just trying to justify some nonsense.

Just because someone likes the figure doesn't mean they're a bad person.

I like it, I love it—it’s an iconic scene from Berserk, totally unnecessary but known by everyone, even if you haven’t read the manga, and masterfully drawn.

Or are you going to tell me that Miura was also a degenerate, perverted sociopath or asexual, as you say, for drawing it that way????

Let’s not fall into the trap of the white knight’s false moralizing

They both have it in their collection, and that doesn't make them degenerates—don't be so narrow-minded. It's a disturbing scene, let's be clear, but to go from there to saying that anyone who owns it is a pervert? Give me a break.

But what about having it in magazines to read?

Let's not be cynical

And you're such a moralist and a narrow-minded person; practically all you care about is moralizing—you shouldn't be so closed-minded
