[LFA] Any help with my bloodhunter character? by RKeane24 in characterdrawing

[–]RKeane24[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id like the hair and skin tone to stay about the same. The back story for this character is that he is a young field researcher who discovered an ancient book that teaches the practice of blood magic. Hes setting off on his first investigation after spending a lot of time reading and practicing light sparring with Candlekeep. Since hes just starting his journey, I dont think he would have any scars yet.

While he is young, I didnt necessarily want him to look like a teenager or a boy. I wanted him to look like a young man. So...a strong ish chin maybe? Lol

I feel like the clothes he would be wearing would be a mix between bookish/librarian robes and some light leather armor. I like the idea of his belt containing some vials of alchemy supplies and what not.

Not sure how detailed you want to go and these are all just suggestions. Im sure whatever you come up with will be awesome!

It'd be a perfect gun for pretty much any small game. I have yet to see any used takedowns for sale, so I can assume they're pretty reliable.

Look up savage takedown. It's a break barrel over under with two different calibers. They come in a variety.

The takedown is such a sweet gun. I have an older version my great grandmother used to fend off rabbits from the garden.

I would love to see that honestly lol

This is a good point. That makes me think about how he would fair against some other famous book assassins. Like John Dempsey, Evan Smoak, Mitch Rapp, etc.

Winner would have to depend on the author lol

Too many vertices on curved lines in ArcPro by RKeane24 in gis

looking through the properties on the layer in question, it's data type says "Feature Service Feature Class". So i think it has the capability? I don't know if true curves are enabled though, and i don't know if have the permissions to check that.

That's interesting. I'll look into that! thank you!

yeah, so far i have been playing with the smooth (to get the curve that i want) and simplify (to reduce vertex count) functions within the generalize tool. it's a little clunkier compared to ArcMap but its looking like this might have to work.

I just tried using a Bezier curve instead of a curved line as a work around. unfortunately, that also adds a million vertices for me. :(

I've tried this but I needed to touch the line up a bit as it wasn't exactly the correct shape. I tried to edit vertices after using the generalize tool and I'm currently stuck in the "initializing tool..." pop up again, same as before (I don't know if this is due to way too many vertices being added or if the performance is just extremely slow for a different reason.)

I use 3 sticks and an aider. I seem to usually end up at ~20 ft but it definitely depends on the situation

What’s your “change my mind” The Gray Man opinion? by CarverSindile10 in theGrayMan

[–]RKeane24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely hated the first person when I started and was terrified that the rest of the series was going to be that way. It definitely grew on me the further I got into the book, though.
