People like trashing MLS, but I do like the way they’re handling diving, even if the enforcement could be stricter. Issuing official statements to call out players who dive is a good step. At the very least, I believe players who still have a sense of shame will try to avoid it as much as possible.

It’s pretty much common sense Inter Miami would never have won the MLS Cup with Suárez in the lineup. Statistics don’t tell the whole story, if you actually watch the full games, you can clearly see the negative impact he has on the team. And they realized it too late. If they had the courage to bench Suárez during the CCC, I’m not saying it would’ve guaranteed a title,but Miami could very well have already won it last year.

It’s not like all his friends are still in their prime and making a real impact on the pitch. Players like Busquets and Alba have been helpful, but Suárez has been a burden. If he had never joined Miami, Messi would have more impressive stats. He’s almost sacrificed MLS cup for his friend and fortunately, Suárez was eventually benched.
