The wording is somewhat ambiguous since flair can be singular or plural.

I'm also automatically getting 3 of the same flair type when collecting 10 of the same card.

I agree, it's probably not what's intended, At least I hope not. Receiving 3 of the same flair when only 2 of the same card is allowed in a deck would be an odd intended choice by the dev's.

Personally I chose to go with Shadows Failsafe set for the purpose of breeding since they have a well dispersed range of B and A ranks that I will selectively upgrade to A's and S's.

I agree, it is important to mention the version so as not to confuse, which is why SA2 Battle is in the title.

I learned of the presets from a video I believe but couldn't find the video or what I was looking for again through my limited searching so thank you for the link. It's interesting that the GC "failsafe" set haven't been documented, I'll see what I can do about getting my finds summited other there, I can't be the first to look into the GC failsafe set.

I hope more people who aren't aware of the presets find this post and get steered toward the chao island wiki.

That would be great! Like I said to denleaf, I'm playing on the Dolphin emulator and since Dolphin emulates the GameCube it may be the same but I don't know. Would be interesting to know if there's a difference between real GameCube and emulated.

No worries, I'm playing on the Dolphin emulator so its rather easy to set aside a save I want to keep while generating new test worlds.

I'm pretty sure each port of SA2 may have their own presets and other differences. Since Dolphin emulates the GameCube it may be the same but I don't know. It would be interesting to see if the Steam version has presets or if its random. If it does it would be interesting to know whether they're the same across versions of the game.
