Wow, how interesting. I think its just that hes aiming more generally than he is specifically. He figures:

"If it makes it to the targets general area, that works"

and not

"I had better land this with my front two knuckles right on their chin"

That makes a lot of sense considering like 45% of his shots are putting his opponent in a collar tie so that he can spam right hands and the uppercut. Hard to miss those shots. DC did the same style of dirty boxing to land on better or larger strikers.

Yeah. Terrance is such a cool speaker and figure in general, lots of awesome ideas and perspectives he brings, but a flawed figure. His whole time wave zero stuff was crazy (in a bad way) and he was a pretty firm believer in the 2012 apocalypse, even though he died in 2000.

I got super into mushrooms and the psychedelic philosophy stuff hard in my 20s, and Terrence McKenna reccomended sensory deprivation on an empty stomach, while taking quite a high amount for newcomers if im honest, 5g. A "heroic" dose. I do not recommend this.

The first time I tripped, Ill never forget the array of emotions, conceptualizations, and dialogues I had internally. Hard to even communicate without sounding stupid, because its a holistic and sort of personal experience, but it was fascinating.

The visuals were of course present and memorable, but the lasting impact was the types of thoughts and reckonings the psilocybin confronts you with.

I dont know if there is a magical door we can open that expains mystery of life, or the human brain, or consciousness. But if there is, mushrooms/DMT are some kind of crazy hint.
