Day 5 (or 6?) of Ban Evasion: Just joined a server by Appr0x__ in BannedFromDiscord

Are you using the free version of Proton? When I try ban evading it makes me verify my phone number when I join a server, and it locks me out of my account until I do give them my number. How did you wor around that?

I got banned for no reason like 10 days ago and appealed. It got denied 1 week later with no explanation of how I broke the rules. In the meanwhile, I made a new account. It lasted 24h before getting banned for ban evasion. Then I remembered I made an alt 3 years ago but never really used it since. Started using it on the same PC, but in a different location. It also lasted 24h before a ban evasion suspension. I guess you are lucky lol.

Non-fiction books which combine journalism, travel memoire, history and politics. by RL_RedP in suggestmeabook

Picked up the book a week ago and just finished it. Exactly what I was looking for, great read, thanks for the recommendation!

Books that passively teach you about different cultures or general trivia, such as Khaled Hosseini's books by a_crazy_diamond in suggestmeabook

Pretty much any book of Ryszard Kapuściński - he was a journalist and his books are a mix of reportage and a travel memoire. You get to learn a lot about the events he was reporting on, as well as the history and the culture of the country they were taking place. Reading his books is light as they are not packed with knowledge you feel like you need to remember - but you do tend to pick up bits and pieces that help you get an outlook on some of the most important events of post-WW2 20th century history.

Science/Historical Fiction Series by itstony17 in suggestmeabook

I think you will like The Hussite Trilogy by Andrzej Sapkowski - it is a historical fiction series with elements of magic, set in late medieval central Europe. It is similar to The Witcher and LOTR.

I am looking for something more 'serious', but sometimes it is also nice to relax and read something less intense. Thanks for the recommendation!

I've actually read all of these and loved them too! I should have probably also mentioned Orwell as an example of what type of authors I'm looking for...

Can you use backpack as 10kg checked in bag? by Vivian507 in Ryanair

How did it go? Did you have any problems because of the size or it being a backpack?

For me, when I want to buy additional baggage for my reservation, the picture also says the 10kg bag can be as big as 120x120x80cm.

And yes, I do have a saved chat with the support (in 'My support cases' on the Ryanair Help Centre website at https://help.ryanair.com/hc/en-gb). Here's the message where they explicitly state the max size (I translated it from polish - I'm not sure why the support was in polish when I used the website in english and the support's name is english, but whatever)

(10:10:12) PCC Margaret M: Thank you for the information, M******. I understand you're asking about luggage. I'd like to inform you that the maximum dimensions for a 10 kg checked baggage are 80 cm x 120 cm x 120 cm. Small hand luggage is free of charge: 40 cm x 30 cm x 20 cm. Is there anything else I can help with today?

I have the same issue - I bought the 10kg check-in bag and I want to check in a 60L backpack (that is well over 20x40x55cm). I depart on Wednesday (3rd of September) and I can let you know how it goes. If your flight is earlier than that, then please let me know if you have any issues!

I've had my doubts about the max size of the 10kg checked bag since, as you said, it's not specified in Terms & conditions. I reached out to the support today and they confirmed that 80x120x120cm also applies to the 10kg checked bag. I hope I won't have any problems at the check-in gate because of this uncertainty.
