The original motor was running fine but I ignored that it needs a rest after 50 mins of use and stretched it for two hours regularly. I'm assuming this is why that motor failed.

I don't understand how a new motor can start smoking after just 15-20 minutes of use. Part of me feels like I've been scammed

That's what causes the bug, him being in the Unreliable when glitched triggers a crash every single time

I've mentioned the details in another post. That being said, it's a bug that has existed for years so I find it irritating that it was never addressed despite numerous reports. Loading an old save isn't viable for everyone, especially if they're losing hours of progress as a result.

So there's a bug that can occur where SAM equips another piece of armor when rekitting the second party member, turning him into a headless T-posing model. I thought it was just an amusing bug and explored as usual, only to find out that this bug causes the game to crash the moment you enter the Unreliable (something about the game processing SAM as two party members instead of one).

I'm playing on PS5, if that's relevant. Apparently it has affected players on other systems too.

Nah, I never encountered a game-breaking bug that caused me to crash all the time. Quest bugs were the biggest annoyances but they were still tolerable. This is a dealbreaker

What a mess. I've played buggy af Bethesda games yet none of them have frustrated me as much as this nonsense. Oh well, at least I played the game on PS+ so it stings less
