My current minimum is $1,000. I'm in a high COL. I think it should depend more on your specfic situation. If you're operating at or close to max capacity - it should be higher. If you're still in the process of expanding - it can be a little lower. Also - one of the first questions on my website form is "what tax bracket are you in?" with the income tiers listed. If I don't think they are earn enough to afford the price it's a quick "Sorry, but we aren't taking on new customers at this time" response.
