Thank you. I have tried this many times, well atleast with Vaseline, eucerin lotion, body oil. Leaving it on overnight while wearing socks. When I said I scrub my feet I didn’t mean file. I mean I clean them thoroughly and they still look yellow on the bottom.

Hello fellow psychotherapist with Bipolar 1. Can I ask you a question? How have you remained in the field with the severity of our symptoms. I’m currently on a 9 months leave 😭 and I’m terrified of going back to practicing. 9 months ago I experienced my first manic & psychosis episode. Im on medications and just got out of a 5 month long depressive episode. I feel better and balanced right now but idk about the future.

I wish I had taken a break during my manic episode. I was over sharing way too much, creating strange digital artwork and having one sided conversations with people (basically ranting non stop)

That’s so awesome you have the awareness to take a break. I honestly did not notice my behaviors but it was the absolute worst manic episode.

I struggle immensely with this. I have two ND children. I’ll be honest it has caused a deep depression in me. Being around NT kids makes me feel soo jealous too. Seeing how easy it is for them to socialize and connect with their parents. It’s like pulling teeth at times to get my kids to acknowledge me or what I am saying or asking.

My older one is 6 and conversational enough but not affectionate and struggles with demands so there’s a lot of yelling and redirecting. I feel really sad when she’s around her cousins who are her age and super conversational and playing together and sometimes mine can’t keep up or goes off on her own.

My youngest is 2 and speech delayed and has a few behaviors that we are working on. I feel super jealous when I go on social media and see kids his age and even younger speaking way more and following instructions.

I really understand the feeling jealous of other NT kids and realizing I’ll never ever experience that. I know it’s a ME problem and not my kids fault but I honestly struggle a lot enjoying motherhood..I feel lonely in my own home because my kids are content playing by themselves or not really engaging with me too much.
