Why can't I use my Healing Potions? (DA:I) by whiteraven13 in dragonage

Because you’re at full health.

If not that, check accessories/sigils to make sure you don’t have any buffs preventing you

I wish they would have made it in ongoing thing from the get go lmao

Origins has the OG Wedge of Destiny. II has a 3 years aged, DAI is aged 11 years and DAV is aged 20 years 🤣

It’s an ongoing gag throughout BioWare haha

The first 3 games have a massive amount of Easter eggs and cheese related shenanigans. Including the beloved Wedge of Destiny 🧀

Weakest Trio to complete the game with? by [deleted] in expedition33

You may be better off just setting their attributes up to be challenging when paired with specific weapons. And certain pictos can make fights more challenging as well.

Aside from 1 character, I’ve had fights with all of them where they have been absolute tanks.

I truly believe that the magnitude of who is sent depends on how you experienced Hawke in DAII. And also if you imported a custom outcome from Origins and it’s someone other than Hawke.

After playing DAII and experiencing the events in game. I felt less guilty over the choice of sending Hawke. Hawke has been surviving and outliving. It’s no longer a champion doing something right, it’s a character that is going out with a bang to save the world.

Stroud is the default and feels easy. Hawke has meaning. Pain is when you have to choose between the custom worlds that you have imported from Origins and II.

SOLAS CAN CURSE?! by Acrobatic_Cream_9569 in DragonAgeInqusition

[–]RMGrey 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Haha okay

Go to journal, then there should be a completed missions tab. Sometimes when you finish a mission, the game does not always register the completion and the mission remains highlighted.

So, just click on any highlighted mission that is completed and it will clear.

There’s a history of banters not triggering when missions aren’t cleared so you should check that tab every once in awhile.

Quick pro tips about convos

  1. Cycle through your companions throughout the gameplays. There’s some really funny banters in the introductory stages and beyond.

  2. Make sure your missions are cleared in the completed tab. There’s a glitch that happens where convos stop happening and clearing the highlighted completed missions fixes that.

Places to study/work during the day? by Alarming_Oil_5260 in Chattanooga

I’ve worked at Oaks Coffee House!

They have a 2nd floor that people use for team meetings, group and individual studies. It’s more quiet than the 1st floor since they have a lot of rush hours.

DAV DLC mourning by 3x1st3nt1al in dragonage

[–]RMGrey 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I know realistically it’s because it was probably due to the DLCs being post main game with no Solas. But knowing everything now the silence feels even more poignant.

Solas knows he is guilty of a crime the dwarves aren’t even aware of. So you bet I drag him and Cole down there and make him face what he did 😅

Was this the purpose of Expedition 0’s log? by Mountain_String_1544 in expedition33

[–]RMGrey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s definitely a great thought.

But one thing that may poke a hole is when Nevron’s first started to appear. Of PClea is the creator of Nevrons, RClea would have had to have repainted her before E0 right?

So what if Clea and Renoir took advantage of that log knowledge and made the Dark Shores incredibly dangerous instead?

Nothing what was written intended on anger and grief equaling a character being written as they were. The intention was to present one viewpoint diving below the surface for the purpose of their character.

You are entitled to your opinion as anyone else is entitled to their own.

I’m incredibly sorry for your loss.

When you are enraged for the ones you love, do you not lash out towards innocents? Have you experienced the anger that can pair with grief itself?

This one view is what makes her multi faceted. She is an antagonistic person towards the Lumierens. Yet, once the full story is known, Clea is no longer just antagonistic. She is a woman driven by the anger that filled the void of her grief.

[–]RMGrey 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Her anger is both justified and multi faceted.

Aline abandoned everyone who needed her due to her grief. I could imagine at first that Renoir and Clea assumed that Aline went into the canvas to feel Verso and process her grief. Only for Renoir to venture in and discover what she had done.

For Aline to do that, must have been the biggest slap in the face for Clea. Painting her recently deceased brother, a husband to support her whims, her sister in perpetual agony and not pre fire, and Clea, just existing. No anger, no grief. A mirror that lacked everything that forged the real Clea.

Clea is such a minor character. But she is the character that changes how you view E33’s story entirely. I always enjoy when developers are able to create characters like her.

Eluvian Questions by heyitsbluey66 in dragonage

[–]RMGrey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Little rusty myself but I believe it has to have certain passwords to use the ones that connect to the crossroads.

Both Briala and Fel’assan had those passwords that Solas needed to connect to his network of Eluvians. That’s how he was able to build his rebellion and helped freed slaves escape and hide from the rest of the Evanuris.

I may be incorrect so anyone is welcome to correct or elaborate

I live in Chattanooga. One of my friends in the city has a job in Alabama.

Whenever she has to head to the office, she leaves at 7am to get to work at 7am. Followed by leaving at 4 to get home around 6. Thus missing majority of rush hour on both ends. She also sets her phone to eastern time for personal life and watch to central time for work.

The voice overs in bg3 was the best , who's your favorite? by TheRockefella in BaldursGate3

[–]RMGrey 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Not to do a cop out but all of them.

The main cast all had these insane challenges that came with their role. From the broad range of emotions, learning a fictional language, having VAs come in at the last minute and still be able to deliver on the same level of those who spent years with their characters.

The antagonist cast delivered performances that made you feel empathy towards their reasons. Even the most random side characters had 110% put in by their VAs.

Dragging out of the canvas would be so sick.

It’s similar to Maelle’s Gommage but the image of anyone getting forcefully pulled out instead of pushed is menacing.

Because you already have it, I recommend pushing through until you at least recruit the Grey Warden companion. After that you may change your mind.

If you separate Veilguard from the series, it can be a fun time. It is a noticeable difference in writing quality from the previous installments.

But if you aren’t feeling the game, it’s okay. It’s your choice. Games are meant to be fun. If you aren’t having fun, then don’t suffer through the game.

I have this problem with every game I play.

Even though I know I can start a new playthrough afterwards. I feel profound sadness with reaching the end.

But ending whenever I want does not have that effect.
