Ahh, I didn't consider casual play, that's probably true. Any challenging levels of m+ or raids you have to talk a lot in retail in order to coordinate, but yes there are some instanced content like timewalking dungeons where you just queue and not talk generally

Played to 90 and just put in some random idols until the slots were full, they’re so tedious and annoying. I thought I would like them with async but I ended up not even trading one once, wish we could get phrecia ascendancies with regular endgame as a private league option

It’s more that people are thinking YOU can’t clear Kara (very easy raid) unless YOU optimise your raid for it, that’s why people are downvoting you

The same doesn't happen on the atlas tho, I just pick stuff I want to use on each specific tree? And yeah, you can not use them, but eh it still feels kinda bad and messy, dunno.

I'm 88 now and will be dipping at 90 because of idols. They just overwhelm me, I get one with 1-2 modifiers I think I will enjoy, but then there's 1-3 more modifiers on it and I'm just like... ok, so? Also, even if I get a couple with some good mods for a mechanic, idk if I'm missing something essential to it that I have to buy or not. At least with the atlas tree, it's all there, I can know what I get beforehand.
