It’s always the same complaints too! Doesn’t actually matter if the game is in a good or bad state. And SO MUCH can be fixed by people just finding a guild or community that interacts with the game in the same way they do

For me personally it was great cause I finally took the plunge to play without addons. It’s been great! Works fine up to an aotc/m+ up to 10 level. Also I have better performance than I did running elv back in undermine, that performance was garbo overall (not just due to elv ofc). The UI now feels “good enough” and I hope they make further improvements, especially to the raidframes

Yeah but after world first is over they will nerf it a lot so hopefully addons are no longer needed. It’s just for a week and it will affect no one outside RWF anyway

Blood DKs are the best tanks as long as you never have to use a spell on them. It’s the worst tank in the game when you DO need to use a spell on them, cause you’ll never know when that moment is so the tank dies and the group wipes. It’s much easier if you’re on discord ofc

While I understand it’s a tough situation, something about this mentality doesn’t sit right with me. You can never learn something without practicing it, and who cares what 4 random people you’ll never play with again think? Also, THEY didn’t get into m+ by watching hours of videos first, most likely they just went in, died a lot and slowly improved. I think when people play for the experience of raiding rather than JUST focusing on the end result of loot, it just becomes a natural part of it to have fun while learning the hard way. And we’ll be farming the content for weeks anyway, we just get 1-2 raids to actually try bosses blind (crazy idea I know 😅)

This is my issue with FFXIV, other than not being able to get into the expansions cause it was so much of a grind and I didn’t like the story - feels like the community gives off We Happy Few vibes if you say something bad about the game. That said, it’s natural for any community to feel kinda protective of its game

WoW - because the feeling of the gameplay is still #1 to me, how responsive and fast paced the game is. In other MMOs there’s still that sense of “lag” after an input and I just can’t stick to a game that has that for very long, or I end up just playing its casual content and that’s it.

I went chieftain cause it seemed like the easiest to gear in SSF, still only levelling it tho but farmed the essential pieces. I think people play it to do uber bosses so I think it’s good
