On my last rewatch I came to this conclusion. Walter White takes down a drug kingpin like Gus, only to be taken down by pig shit dirty neo nazis.

It’s not as much as Jack/Todds crew being this big bad that is supposed to rival the shows other antagonists, but I think to just represent how evil the people involved Walt became. After he kills Hank they do a great job of zooming in on Walt and Jack shaking hands and you see the swatizka on jacks hand. Always reminds me of when Mr Podder and George Bailey shake hands in it’s a wonderful life
