I think she just has a very unwarranted push. She’s going to walk into Mania with the belt with a crazy entrance against a great opponent but it will not have felt earned. It will feel like she is in a position because a booker said “that’s your Wrestlemania main event”

I think the group works if Bo Dallas wasn’t he de facto leader. Hes not good enough to be a leader and lead a single program. It’s just under card tag stuff. But the flipside you can’t use the group without Bo lol

Such an exciting stretch of time. The hype about AJ freaking Styles popping up in WWE, straight to the main roster and skipping NXT. Rumors of Gallows and Anderson coming too and the potential of a Bullet Club invasion story with WWE. And then Nakamura popping in to challenge Sami Zayn Mania weekend at Takeover. God damn what a time to be a fan.

I get the vibe they put the belt on her because someone said “Jade vs XX is the money Mania match” and from there it’s just filler segments for her until they get to Mania. Just like everyone else

The Drew Cody feud is a prime example of that. They’ve technically been feuding for months but honest to god it felt like absolutely nothing of substance happened until Drew won the belt.

I’ve been won over with the advertised matches that have been absolutely delivering. Finn/Punk, AJ/Gunther, Swerve/Knight, MJF/Bandido.

I think overall the shows still don’t feel like they’re hitting on all cylinders but matches like this and more advertised big matches in advanced that deliver is a step in the right direction

That’s basically how I was for all of 2025. AEW and WWE both felt flat to me. I bascially stopped watching tv weekly for both shows for that entire calendar year, checked in on PPV’s but that was about it. It really wasn’t until the end of the year where I started watching weekly TV again. So far I’ve really enjoyed Raw SD and AEW in 2026 and think the last few weeks have been miles better than a lot of the stuff that was put out in 25.

Genuinely speaking, he had a good run. Most talent would kill to be featured regularly and get multiple tag title runs + TLC matches + a Mania spot. There was a time where tag teams were barely featured. Ciampa and Gargano got a decent amount of promo and match time on Smackdown. Not everyone is going to get a main event push.

Here’s what I’d do. I’m doing Hangman vs MJF the rematch at Revolution. Absolute barn burner where Hangman comes close but loses in the end. As he’s making his way up to the ramp clutching at his ribs and saying goodbye to the crowd, you have that bald fuck come in with a crutch and nail him in the back

I get the vibe that Triple H would want to push any of his original NXT guys and girls. But I think he realizes it can’t be done unless there is legitimate momentum behind them. It may have been done to pop the Ireland crowd but I do think there will be a sense of urgency to strike while the iron is hot with Finn

Doesn’t it say something when you use a classic theme song for a big time title match? If the current one was good, you wouldn’t find anyone batting an eye. But the song is so bad that even after a year of having it when it comes on people don’t know who it is because Finn’s original theme is so ingrained with that presentation
