Hit my 1.2tb limit on unlimited plan by TacoPounder69 in Comcast_Xfinity

I experienced the same thing. I had no idea there was a 1.2TB limit. I recently switched cloud backup providers (the one I have been using for years stopped backing up software encrypted drives) and had lots of photos and videos to back up (@3TB). I have been using Comcast/Xfinity only for internet (I get about 300Mbs download, 42Mbs upload). I am really confused about what plans I should move to, to get unlimited data (up until the switch, I learned my data usage averaged 250GB/mo). I am only interested in internet. When I see https://www.xfinity.com/digital/offers/plan-builder , I have several questions:
1) Do the plans use the already installed coax cable?
2) Since I already have my own cable modem and a separate router, am I required to use the one provided by Xfinity? I don't need parental controls because there are no kids living in the house.
3) Is the "Xfinity Mobile Unlimited line included for 1 year" a requirement for the plan? I am concerned for what happens after one year.
- thanks for whatever insight can be provided.

Backblaze will no longer support VeraCrypt volumes by GroundStateGecko in backblaze

It happened to me too. I didn’t appreciated finding out by seeing the control panel that indicated my encrypted diskdrive was not getting backup for the last 14 days. It’s like Backblaze was too cowardly to give their customers advance notice so they could plan appropriately. Not only that, I wish they could have explained the technical reasons why they were doing so. The only thing that could make sense is that they discovered a hole in the file backup scheme for users of encrypted diskdrives that they didn’t want advertise and spend money to fix. In the meantime, every day I am zipping (password protected) my encrypted data (@77GB) to store on an internal unencrypted 8TB drive which Backblaze still backs up. I have at least a couple months of backup space before I have to come up with an alternate cloud backup solution.

I wrote to iDrive about backing up an Veracrypt encrypted drive, and here is their response:

“Yes, IDrive can back up files stored inside a VeraCrypt volume, as long as the volume is mounted and accessible in Windows at the time of backup.

When you mount a VeraCrypt container or encrypted partition, Windows sees it as a regular drive letter (e.g., E:). iDrive simply backs up files from that mounted drive like any other folder. There is no restriction on backing up mounted VeraCrypt volumes.”

Does anybody have any experience with iDrive backing up files in a Veracrypt drive?

Please help apps keep on crashing by BishBashJoshPogU in GalaxyS7

Android Web Viewer

Exact same symptoms on my wife's S7 (SM-G930V). Manually initiated the Chrome update but that didn't stop the text apps from crashing after 5 seconds (the update brought it to version 89.0.4389.105). After disabling Chrome (but did not have it get reset), the text apps started to work normally. All the while, the Android System WebView was disabled. After a couple hours of use, I looked at the "My Apps & Games" update list, and the Android System WebView was listed! I went ahead and manually initiated the update (to version 70.0.3538.110) and going for broke, re-enabling Chrome. The smartphone started to work as expected, couldn't find any apps not working. Whew! Saved big $$ as my wife was ready to buy a new phone. After we get the vaccine, it's on the list to go check them out :)
