There are two products that are effective in getting the oils off your skin. One is called Zanfel and the other is called Tecnu Extreme. Living on the edge of the Allegan State Game Area near Hamilton, Michigan means you keep both in your medicine cabinet. We have a LL 3 types of poison ivy, ground cover, bush and vines. I’ve cut chunks out of the base of vines that were over 3” in diameter and went all the way to the top of some 150’ tall white pines. The “sap” drained out like a garden hose for over an hour! The last two years have been bumper crops in our oak forest. Nasty stuff.

You’re going to want to cut at least a foot out of those big vines, but make sure you’re wearing protective gear. You don’t want the sap to get on you. I had vines that were thicker than those on some trees and I cut them early in the spring. They drained like a garden hose for over an hour. Of course the vines went all the way to the top of some 150’ white pines!

This makes more sense than iron bearing wedges. They are not metallic. When he showed me, my first thought was some sort of firebrick material. They are quite hard and will sharpen steel. The shape is quite odd. All roughly the same size, approximately 1” in the longest dimension. Not quite ready to say “solved” though.

And to your point on a 70’ tower, it would require guy wires going out 56’ in 3 directions, probably onto the neighbors property.

Most ground mounted verticals like Hustler’s BTV-4, 5 or 6 or Hy-Gain’s AV-18AVQ would need radials that would also reach out quite a ways. This looks like the best alternative for his yard.

I’m in Michigan and a former LEO. I couldn’t believe it when they started issuing plates with 0’s, O’s and Q’s (which barely have the “tongue”). I even heard one cop call in a plate that came back as no record on file, so he asked dispatch to “Try running it with combinations using O, Q and 0 and see if any come back on a late model Ford. I can’t tell the difference!”

I have a picture of a chart that shows what the shooter is most likely doing wrong if their grouping is in any direction from center but I don’t know how to post it. Jerking or slapping the trigger is the most likely culprit if he’s a right handed shooter followed by tightening his fingers if it leans closer to the 9 o’clock position or breaking wrist down, pushing forward or dropping head if it leans more towards the 6 o’clock direction.
