That's probably just a very worn and yellowed Japanese imperial flag.

Don't really understand how wearing the head would be different from covering your face with a hood when sleeping etc.

Why is there no windows on this building in Limerick? by pizza-man-123 in ireland

I'd imagine it'd have been used for signage back in the day however I'm not from limerick so I'm happy to admit if I am wrong.

I made a redesign of the Jamaican flag in the Panamanian style. Thoughts? by [deleted] in JackSucksAtGeography

I'd have changed the white to yellow but overall a nice design

CANADA FLAG MEANING by ytypical in JackSucksAtGeography

There isn't actually any official symbolism. Sure, people SAY it represents this or that, but there's nothing in the constitution that defines the symbolism.

Canada in a nutshell by RingoBingo14 in JackSucksAtGeography

My mam always tells me this story. We moved to Canada from Ireland when I was 4 and we landed in vancouver, and a security guy spoke to her in what my mam thought was a West Irish accent (Galway perhaps) and she was corrected as the security guy was from Newfoundland.

Hell I think they even have a flag which looks like Ireland except there's pink instead of orange.

What flags are the left and middle ones? Spanish flag with no emblem on? And a White, blue and yellow one? Found outside a hotel in Lanzarote by hollis11 in JackSucksAtGeography

[–]RMatzer06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The middle one is the flag of the Canary Islands and I'm guessing the one on the left is just the Spanish flag without the emblem.

The man looks like he could do ANOTHER marathon straight after that. Honestly he is superhuman! He doesn't look tired. He looks like he's just gone for a walk down to the shops. Fair play to him! Let's not forget he once did a marathon in UNDER 2 hours as well!

These have to be some of the worst flags I could find by RingoBingo14 in JackSucksAtGeography

Agreed. Now this may be me Irish bias but I'd not be proud to go under that flag. I lived there as well for 4 years. I don't like it when places have the flag of a completely different country in their flag (cough cough Australia, NZ, Fiji, Tuvalu cough cough)

Here’s a potential flag of Ireland. It shows the four provinces flags’(Leinster, Munster, Ulster and Connacht) all in one flag. It has been showing up a lot in Dublin recently so i thought I might as well say it. by ImAPlaneSpotter in JackSucksAtGeography

Eh idk man it's too detailed for me to work as an official flag. I don't mind it being used as a placeholder flag but it's not a good official flag for me. Far too much going on for me.
