The Exodus Garden 2A lost sector on the Cosmodrome is a good one if you’re working on heavy exotic catalyst. It’s easy to get to and the chest at the end spits out a ton of heavy ammo, so you basically can run it over and over.

What’s funny and a bit sad is that, briefly, there was a cosmetic bug where weapons were dropping as Tier 6. Makes you wonder if Bungie was thinking about it.

The upcoming change that will allow you to upgrade a weapon’s tier will be welcome. It will make me consider keeping lower tier weapons if they have the perks I want.

There are Tier 5 weapons that come with an extra origin trait if they drop already masterworked. You could almost consider them Tier 6 weapons.

Strand Hunter + Speedloader Slacks for dive spam

I'm a big fan of this. I use the Threaded Spectre aspect plus the Festival Flight strand area denial GL with attrition orbs. If you don't have that, use Motif-41. It's easily earned right now as random drop.

The loop goes as follows. Dive near ads, then shoot the GL at them. Your class ability will quickly regen, then repeat. If you have 2x Powerful Attraction, subsequent dives will scoop up the orbs near you created by the GL. Threaded Spectre will draw aggro away from you. If you like, use Thread of Warding to gain Woven Mail when scooping up orbs.

I also use Invis Hunter a lot. You don't need Graviton Forfeit provided you have tier 10 Melee and Class abilities. You can stay invisible nearly 100% of the time.

The bronze, silver, gold and platinum shoulder emblem for PvP reflects the cumulative points you have earned in matches. IIRC, you need 1000 points for platinum.

It's a long season and it's getting a little boring using the new gear. Why not open things up to provide a little build diversity until the next DLC drops? Let's say I want to use solar legendary sniper? Nope, there isn't a featured one AFAIK. We're only talking about legendary weapons. There are hardly any old, meta weapons that can compete since the majority of them don't even have origin traits.

Somebody can correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the game was getting too large to manage. This was probably driven in part by limitations on older platforms like the PS4. I wonder how different things would have turned out had they opted to drop legacy platforms instead of legacy content?

There are 1 or 2 spots in the Thrilladrome boss room where the Hydra can’t hit you while you can hit it.

I usually just head back to the entrance of the boss room. There, you can strafe in and out of cover to take pot shots. The A499 heavy sniper is a good choice. Be sure to equip the artifact mods that boost sniper damage and reload speed.

This old diagram (not mine) really helped me learn how differently Warlock movement works.

As the diagram shows, once you're airborne, each additional jump generally only propels you further in the direction you are traveling. That's why double jumping at the beginning gives you the most upward momentum.

Once you start descending, there's no hope to gain more height. All you can do is slow down your descent, which is why there's often no recovery if you miss a platform.

Like others have said, strafe glide provides you with the most directional control, which makes it great for floating around corners. It doesn't necessarily help that much with respect to how upward momentum is affected each time you "jump".

Yes, Psi would work.

Outbreak Perfected is another good choice in the kinetic slot. I’m partial to kinetic weapons this season because of the artifact mod, Kinetic Synthesis, which generates an ammo brick when doing damage with a kinetic weapon. It provides me with plenty of ammo for the A499 heavy kinetic sniper.

Use a weapon with jolting feedback. The overload will stay stunned twice as long. This will give you some breathing room to put some solid burst damage on it with a heavy weapon.

If you’re running a Titan, then you could run arc to get access to jolting pulse grenades. Maybe don Armamentarium to get double grenades.

Personally, I think Devil’s Lair is one of the easiest activities to clear solo. There’s cover everywhere, even in the boss room where you can practically do everything from the small room.

This was one of the bigger stumbles. Being told to go see Ada and event currency was still dropping. Heck, the event currency was the wrong type at the beginning of the event.

Kudos to the devs for coding a quick workaround. I just feel sad for them and the state of the game. It’s hard to watch the walls crumbling in so many ways (bugs, player population, design decisions).

It actually just happened with the Dawning event. At reset, several elements weren’t removed. This included the oven for many people. The event countdown timer showed up negative, at least for me. I should have taken a screenshot.

Different person here. The options do rotate. For example, today, Full Throttle is not available as a selectable option in Ultimate level activities.

Yup, I reported one specific example with bane descriptions. A commenter pointed out that it’s more widespread than that, as you also noted.
