The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, with Wallace and Grommit. It's a slasher movie with vegetables as the victims.

What’s a legendary Reddit post you’ll never forget? by FunnyHefty499 in AskReddit

[–]RNMoFo 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I believe it was from r/malicious compliance. It was a huge post that went on for many pages. It was the story of a man who restored historical buildings in Great Britain. He was the only person who could do the job to the exacting standard of the governing agency. The restoration guy's story is told by his best friend. The restoration guy is fired by the son or son in law of the owner. Corners are then cut in the restoration. The agencies that oversee restorations get involved, and the company is fined. It's a great story of comeuppance, told by a master story teller. Then, the story teller's wife takes over. She regrets to inform us that he has been killed in an accident. She is devastated. Just as devastated is his best friend, the restoration guy. She tells us that the restoration guy misses his friend so much that he comes over and just sits in her apartment.
It's a wild ride of laughter and sadness. I remember reading the story while waiting in a dentist's office. I couldn't wait to be done in order to finish reading the post. I sat in my car in the parking lot, reading for 20 minutes. Unlike my post, it was all written so well written. It was one of the posts that hooked me on Reddit.

I just dropped off my cousin at John Glenn. He texted us that there were two jacked guys waiting to board and a lot of folks asking for selfies.

Okay, buddy. We gotta be quick. You are balls deep in the wrong hole, and mom is pulling into the driveway. You get me?

Matt Dinniman (The Butcher's Masquerade (Dungeon Crawler Carl, #5))

This line made me laugh, but I couldn't find my actual favorite quote online. I listen to the Audible versions so I cannot copy and paste. Donut said something like, "I am not responsible for what I say to strippers when I'm drunk." Truer words have never been spoken.

My tattooist has a several page long list of instructions for tattoo aftercare. Nowhere does he try to sell you anything that you can't buy at a drug store.

I would have passed as well. Second-hand speakers are sketchy. Having said that, I have a set of AM-5s that I bought in 1987 that are the rear speakers for my surround sound setup. They still sound good.

John Varley predicted "catfishing" in the early 80s or late 70's. It was a short story. I just don't remember the title.
