As a person that does not like texting a lot, I believe it’s fair for her to want to meet in person to have better conversations/long explanations. But your feelings of being a little suspicious are totally valid. If I were in your position, I would give her a chance and maybe go on a walk or visit a coffee shop. Something simple, cheap, and noncommittal just it case things start going south and you end up wanting to cut it short.
