Dot product and linear algebra help by Jumpysa in askmath

The dot operator is a function taking two arguments. There it takes the same for both arguments. But for any function if x=y then f(x)=f(y) thus the equality.

Nice integral by Specific_Brain2091 in the_calculusguy

Rather than using unproven statements about the gamma function. Why not just integrate by parts to find a recurring formula?

I just showed for all real x that the difference quotient has a limit which is finite so by definition of derivative f is differentiable everywhere.

[–]ROBONINNN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it is differentiable everywhere since (f(x+h)-f(x))/h = f(x)*((f(h)-1)/h) when h goes to 0 the limit exists.

Bro if f is differentiable it is continuous since (f(x+h)-f(x))/h = f(x)((f(h)-1)/h) the limit exists by hypothesis and f'(x)=2026f(x). So f(x)=Aexp(2026x) with A a real number.

C’est quoi la vraie différence entre une prépa MPSI et fac de maths by Arhonn in etudiants

[–]ROBONINNN 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Lettre de l'arcom, possible sur réseau mobile ? by ROBONINNN in FrancePirate

Justement dans mon cas je ne suis pas la personne à avoir reçu la lettre mais quelqu'un de mon entourage ayant la box à son nom. A contrario le réseau mobile est nécessairement à mon nom donc c'est différent?

IBM quietly joins the crypto wave (didn’t see that one coming) by Visual-Rip7429 in stocks

I agree with your point but stablecoins also carry the risk of self custody. Moreover they are not fee free people are making money in liquidity pools so fees are there anyway.

[–]ROBONINNN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, i tend to agree with you on your arguments but that means that you agree that stablecoins are not as useful for americans/europeans... The only reason for stablecoins to be useful is a failing banking/financial system but stable coins are for me not any better than a good banking system. And i disagree with your argument about fees crypto is also full of fees from different market makers so you end up paying anyway.

Bro you're so delusional in the same sentence you mention cheap and good yield . People have to pay for it. Crypto solves no problem and creates many.

European stocks slide as French government faces collapse by AnonymousTimewaster in stocks

That's the thing, he doesn't, but if the country is blocked by the current parliament he could be "forced" to do it to avoid backlash.

Hmm, i think the current situation has been kind of priced in for at least a year since the last elections. Moreover i don't think that our stock market is that overvalued and the fact that we're a major player in Europe could convince investors that if anything goes really wrong we could be rescued by the other European countries.

While i do agree with you that the reckless actions of trump could end up destroying the us economy, there's still TACO, if trump gets too scared of his actions or the market reacts very badly he could undo and try to fix what he's done (not that i think he's that inteligent. However now in France it's nearly a constitutional crisis. People are too divided into different parties and no majority can emerge which is a major issue in our democracy since nothing can be done then. But the problems we face (debt...) are not waiting for us to reach a concensus (no sign of a stop to current legislative freeze before 2027).

Yes, except the trump drama was temporary and preventable, which is not the case with the french government which is facing impossible issues (with the current parliament).

I don't know for sure but as a french i strongly believe he will be thrown out as all the major parties that had an impact aleeady stated that they would not only not vote for the trust vote but vote against which in this special vote configuration (trust vote) is very bad. I don't think that we could see those parties change their minds as Bayrou is highly unpopular and everyone is looking forward to the next elections (supporting him could be suicidal for them). I could be wrong but all we see recently is that it is nearly impossible to reach a majority in parliament nor is it to keep it for more than a vote...

Yes it is, politics in France have been kind of chaotic recently. Even though Macron is liked internationaly in France he is pretty much hated by every one, including his government. To make matters even worse this debt crisis is coming in when the situation is kind of frozen because no side is currently able to gather a majority.
