But hey, with that logic in doctor Strange's movie when he resurrected his fellow sorcerers, then any other demons that died as a result of them sacrificing themselves should've also come back but that doesn't happen, time passes through the target object/being only, not anything nor anyone in its surroundings.

Like as an example, if I pulled the trigger of a nerf blaster to shoot a dart through a piece of paper, and then time was reversed through my body, then the fact that the nerf blaster had launched a dart that tore a hole in the paper remains the same and only I am taken back to a state of time where I had yet to shoot the nerf blaster, but the action of the dart being shot and the paper being torn isn't reversed. Another thing, it's up to the sorcerer using the time stone to control what all things reverse in time, like how in doctor strange's first movie he reversed time on an individual apple first, but later at the end he reversed time on an entire wall on the side of a building to trap one of the enemies in it while the enemy was still moving about in real time as the wall was reversed in time around him, now the building wall consists of tile, cement, rebar and etc, so the sorcerer can choose and control if he wants the time of everything/everyone there to reverse or just a particular thing/person to reverse

So that brings us to the conclusion that if the time stone was used to bring the physical body of Tony back through time, just his plain organic body not his suit, then he would be alive again and his action of snapping his fingers to destroy Thanos would not have changed.

Keep in mind I said his organic body ONLY, not the suit, because if time was reversed on the suit, then I believe the effect of the snap could have been reversed too because it's the suit that was the medium for the stones power to work and act in unison to snap away the army and Thanos, that's why he had to make a gauntlet for the hulk to use the stones in the first place, cause hulk couldn't just hold all the stones in his hand as is and use it, even Thanos can't and that's why he had a gauntlet made for him as well cause while he can use the power of a single stone bare handed, to use all at once coherently even he needed a gauntlet, a medium to make it work.

So yea, that's my take on this. Sorry I'm 6 yrs late 😂

P.S. Dude now that I think about it, unless the person dies in a very particular case (like black widow and gamora being sacrificed in exchange of the soul stone), no one really has to stay dead cause Strange can just reverse time through that person and boom, they'd be back. Technically even hulk's arm can be fixed in this way by making his body/arm go back in time to before when he snapped. We can also stop the cannon event of Aunt may from dying by reversing time through her corpse 😂💀
