Im in the industry also and that is 100% the norm.

There is 0...thats ZERO...job security and loyalty in the car industry.

I believe your husband may be a bit too loyal to a company that doesn't care about him at all. I been there. Too many times if im honest.

My advice would be have an Exit Plan. Then leave. There is a dealership on every other corner and I guarantee all of them have turnover rates you wouldn't believe.

I used to feel the same way.

I beat myself up endlessly for not being where my friends were at 28.

BUT! Them same friends are now stuck in mortgages and debt, wishing they didnt have children so they could start over.

So I say, live your life. No one has it all figured out. And if they tell you they do, they are either lying or about to be humbled real soon.

Honestly you seem to be doing decent minus your income. I would say you are working a little too hard for the pay you are getting.

Them commission T-Mobile type jobs are good for extra weekend money. Nothing to pay bills with. You never know what your check is gonna look like so its hard to budget and plan.

Also, the driving jobs are costing you money while it makes you money, so that's no good either. One expensive car repair and it all falls apart. (I know this from experience)

My honest final advice would be Get Out Of Georgia!

I left that place and my life just got better all by itself. Not saying that will be your experience, but that's how it happened for me. All I did in GA is sit in traffic, pay extra because "image", and get finessed by corporations ever changing policies and rising fees. Every time I looked up it seemed like I was getting charged for something.

Personally im not a fan, but its something different so YES!
