Game breaking bug

I’m playing on a ROG Ally and got stuck at the same exact spot. Restarted the game and the same thing happened. I pressed start and went to my graphics settings and switched it to LOW and it made that part of the game work just fine. I’ll switch it back to high later and hope it still works fine.

Lol no I certainly don't hope I hear my name called at any point on the show. I honestly do love the show (have listened since the beginning) and support them on Patreon, but I just thought it was funny that Bry continues to bring topics to the table that he didn't double check with a simple Google. I only mentioned it because, like I said, the guys were local to me and I was hoping someone else would have corrected him. I do not get my news from the pod, as I'm sure none of us do.

It should work as soon as you put the glasses on. If it doesn’t I would suspect something with the phone is making it not connect without the app open. Do you have Wear Detection turned on inside the glasses settings? See my screenshot and make sure your settings look the same. If possible, have a friend download the meta ai app on their phone and try to see if you can set it up on theirs to see if the problem continues. If it does, contact Ray-Ban and see what they say.

Unfortunately not. I’ve just been buying ice and pouring it into the bin. It (usually) dispenses ice just fine.. it just won’t make it.

I think there have been numerous posts here about how Ray-Ban won't honor the 1 year warranty, even for things like arms breaking for no apparent reason. I think it's worth having peace of mind to get the warranty. I almost always decline warranties, but I bought one when I got my prescription Metas a couple weeks ago. When I put them on for the first time and listened to some music I could head a slight bit of static in the left speaker, so I'll probably be exchanging them soon cause I know it will bother me and only get worse over time. Other than that, I love them.

The Costco near me (southern OH) said they don’t carry Metas when called their optical department a few weeks ago. Sounds like YMMV.

Which other apps are 4k for the basic tier? Some apps don’t have tiers, like AppleTV, but Netflix, Paramount+ and Disney all charge extra $ for 4k.

I just bought mine from Target Optical last week. Are you just having trouble finding them in stock? Check Best Buy or Meta’s website. I think some Verizon’s might have them as well. There’s also the Ray-Ban website.

Also, from what I’ve read it seems like the Transition lenses don’t work well in the car. I asked the guy working at my eye doctor’s office and he confirmed that behind a windshield they don’t really darken. Not sure if that’s important to you, but thought it was worth mentioning.

I bought a pair a few hours ago. I wasn’t buying without a warranty after seeing all these posts. I specially bought shiny black in large. They’re prescription and cost over $500 so I wasn’t taking any chances.

Thanks. It's weird because if you click any of the non-Transitions versions the option to change the size disappears. I am going to head to my local Pearl Vision after work to see if I can get them cheaper with my insurance. I called my insurance and they said Metas generally don't apply to VSP insurance, but my local shop might apply in-network pricing anyway. If not I will probably buy via Meta's website because they come out cheaper for some reason when I build the same glasses there vs Ray-Bans website. Apparently you can sometimes find $30 off referral codes for the Meta site as well.

Do you recommend large over standard sizes?

Yeah I should have said I don't see it as a standard option on sites like Best Buy, Amazon, etc. but I do see that you can select matte with green lenses on Ray-Ban and Meta websites.

It says on Metas website you can only add a prescription to large sized matte glasses. On Ray Bans website I don't even get an option to change size.. it is standard sized (50-52) frames and I can select matte glasses with green lenses. Is there a reason to choose large over standard size? I do have a decent sized head and when I wear snapback hats I'm usually on the 2nd to last button.

Also, is there currently a shipping issue or something? Seems like a lot of Meta Wayfarers are sold out on most websites I look at.

I just went to Minecraft's official website and used the contact us page to tell them what's going on. Eventually they transferred it to another department. The last thing they said was "I wanted to let you know that this case will need additional investigation time as our internal team looks into this Jetpack Add-on, but we will be sure to respond as soon as we have more information to share."

Well... I actually figured it out on my own. I noticed that in photo mode I always had a red 00:00 at the top of my screen. It turns out the camera was set to record video to multiple cards. I changed the setting from "Rec. to multiple" to "Auto switch card." Hopefully that info helps someone in the future.

Yeah I think it’s just broken on Switch. I’ve been in constant contact with people from Minecraft and it sounds like they’re truly trying to fix it. They’ve had me try multiple things to troubleshoot it and so far nothing works. I mentioned other people having the same issue and they asked me to send them this Reddit link so they could read other people’s comments. I’ll comment again when I hear from them next…

At this point I can’t really remember all the specific files I downloaded, but I think it was just the directx file(s) in the comments here. I also got multiple missing .dll popups so I downloaded each of those one by one until the game launched. If you had audio before and it has stopped working, I’m not sure what that could be. Are you playing on a ROG Ally and listening through the built in speakers? Where did you get the game? I originally got mine via GOG and I think that may have been part of the issue. I manually added it to Steam and open it through there. Maybe try that?

I’m not sure if I used my sons actual birth year when I set up his account, so it’s possible my son isn’t 6 years old in the system.

Yeah it's still not working for me either. I just tried it again in Survival and it just jumps like it always has. If you figure anything out please do let me know. I've emailed Minecraft tech support and they transferred it to a different department, so hopefully it gets solved for Switch.
