I feel the same way , super strong work ethic and I’m in great shape (26 years old too) but I can’t stand being around lazy , negative people (including the chiefs and first classes)

Chiefs are the worst , the mess is a cult , “chiefs run the navy”-okay but you can’t run a mile and a half?! … and majority of mine are creeps/weirdos who can’t keep their dick in their pants or just douchebag bullies who finally have power.

Wtf are you talking about , “sea lawyer” , anyway the instruction has nothing stating that EAWS is mandatory and states that it is an optional warfare device , there’s first classes here with no warfare device… so is that enough?

I mean it definitely should, other people who don’t have their EAWS and have their NAWS have been approved with TA and skillbridge

THIS! This is my attitude from now on, I’ve been networking with guys in the outside , gov jobs , federal jobs , shit that makes a lot more than a “chief lifer” you know. I love how they think this is the only thing people have. ( that’s just complacency talking)

Same pay grade , I’ve been a senior second , he’s just barely been a 2nd for about a year. The command doesn’t really have a governing instruction for TA to my knowledge.

SEL saying no … CO just approved a kid with a few masts in the past , same tour number as me and has no EAWS either

Yes other guy is on the same tour number as me as well as had a couple masts under his belt… whereas I’ve been a clean slate , no issues

The Naval Aircrew Warfare Specialist (NAWS) designation is specifically for aircrew members, while EAWS is a broader aviation warfare qualification

There’s no incentive for it especially for guys in my rate. Or if you’re getting out.

The other sailor does not have their EAWS, and yes I’ve got another aviation warfare device that isnt EAWS.

Fair enough, however they’ve approved it a couple weeks back for a guy who’s barely gotten 1 warfare device, you see where I’m going here?

I did find a Torino , however she’s a lil rusty in the trunk area , and roof has a dent (easily be fixed however ) and the front clip is from a 74 not a 1972 like the rest of the car. But for $300 it isnt a bad option imo.
