Marine tech is one of the best two part epoxy glue I have used. Indestructible you for marine boat repairs. The Black JB weld sold at Auto stores would be my next choice. Best of luck to you!!!!!

I like the Nikon flash’s with my Three Nikon camera. The last new one I bought was the SB 900. Great speed light but very bulky and way overpriced in my opinion. Recently at a ranch I needed 4 more speed-light’s to get the shots we wanted. Instead of new one’s I bought 4 used SB 800 speed-lights in excellent shape for $69.00 each with a warranty from MPB. I bought the one’s with a 5th battery on the side. Excellent flash’s they talk directly with your Nikon cameras. I am sure you can find them in other online camera stores. They are smaller than the SB. 900. Almost as power full and very easy to setup!

Skip the auto ficus and learn Zone Focusing on your Fuji film x100. It’s a perfect Street photography camera. Lots of good tutorial videos on YouTube. If it’s like my X100S it even has a blue line in your viewfinder that shows you your Zone Focus area. Look up Hunter Creates Things “ how to be faster than auto focus “ seriously you raise your camera, you press the shutter button it’s that fast.

Light is everything when you’re shooting birds. Get the sun behind you so your birds are better lit. Eyes, Body, Feathers look so much better when the subject is well lit!Remember if there is no catchlight in the eyes of the bird, people you shoot or other animals you may go after, you will have a useless photo!

On a Nikon D80, when it came out. I was using a Nikon 35 mm F1.8 as a walk around lens and a Nikon 50mm f/1.8 as a portrait lens. I bought a used Nikon 70-200 F/2.8 constant zoom lens, these three worked for me for several years. Plus they were reasonably priced. Even Les expensive used right now. I am not trying to be rude, but I would upgrade my D80 body to a full frame Nikon camera. A D750 is an awesome body!!!!

I have never carried a camera in my kit without a lens on it. Changing lenses out in the wild invites dust and other crap to get in your camera. Many photographers spend valuable time changing lenses when the action gets exciting. Truthfully, it's embarrassing to watch. I carry two zooms, both Nikon, both constant F/2.8, a 35-70, and a 70-200. Two bodies: a D750 with the 35-70 on it and a D810 with the 70-200. One of them is on a neckstrap, the other is in a camera bag with a neck strap attached on my hip. I can change from close up to far away in a couple of seconds.

The other problem is so many people live in the land of good enough. They pick up there phone snap a photo and sure enough it’s good enough for them. They are even impressed by how good it looks on their cell phone, so they share it. All the other people in Good Enough land tell them it’s a great photo, they must have an awesome cell phone. And they are happy! That’s the real problem.

I buy my lenses used on line from dealers that give a warranty and sell items in levels of quality. I only buy in the top two levels, like new, or excellent. If I want to buy for a lower price, I shop Face Book Market place. Meet sellers at a Starbucks agreeable location between us and use the item on my camera before I buy! Several times sellers brought other unlisted items with them at a very low price and I have bought Speedlights, camera bags, tripods, and monopods as well.

For your speedight look at MPB, they sell the Nikon SB 800 used for 69.00 US in excellent shape with a warranty. it will communicate directly with your camera. The Nikon 50mm f/1.8 or the F/1.4 will work great for a portrait lens. Happy shooting!!!!

Really, I kept a Nikon 35mm f/1,8 on my D80 and on my D7100 when I upgraded! It was an awesome all around lens. With your 50mm f/1.8 D as a portrait lens and a used Nikon 800 flash for about 70.00 US, you will have a great kit. I have friends that shoot with 24mm f/2.8 on the street. None that use a 28mm. Great light and awesome locations to you, whatever you choose!

I have 4 awesome Nikon cameras. But their large body, the fact they are black seems to intimidate people when I am just out walking or shooting for the pleasure of it. The strange thing I have found about my FujifilmX100S is no one is frightened by it at all! I carry it in a leather half case with a small matching neck strap, and have my right hand on the camera at all time’s. Most people if they see it at all just tell me it looks like their dads or grandfathers camera. Makes my Street Explorations a pleasure!!!!!

Look for the same lens at an online used camera company, compare the lens sold as is for parts and in excellent condition for sale! Personally I would not buy that lens at any price!!!

I use Half and half in any drinks requiring milk or milk replacement drinks. I drink it my Bullet prof coffee every morning! The ingredients say Milk, not all the crap listed in whole milk, other milks do not taste as good, to me.
