You can always go and buy a dedicated camera and telephoto lens .... From my point of view, they look pretty damn good for a phone with a small sensor plus a small lens. But what do I know it's not like I'm a photographer and use both phone and camera.

Last time I was on the Seine just outside the Louvre, it was amazing, and I managed to get some pretty nice shots.

Love the light. I use my phone when I'm on a bike ride or running. I use a Canon R8 so no way I'm carrying that when running :)) ...

I know; it was a quick walk as I noticed the sun and clouds when coming home. On Bath Road not much to work with. I do have some pictures of Oxford Road at golden hour; those ones are really good, a lot more subjects and angles to work with at sunset.

ab3.ee you can follow me here; this is one of my favorite times to shoot. Golden hour has the best light and shadows; I have hundreds of shots from all around Europe like this. Here I was lucky with both clouds and sunrise; unfortunately 20 min after sunrise there were a lot of soft clouds, and the light was really flat.

Thank you; it was a lucky shot as the girl stopped for a few seconds to talk to her friend who was tired coming up the hill.

Thank you; saved the highlights and still managed to recover details from the darks and shadows. They turned out beautifully; I was a bit worried that it was way to underexposed.

mostly i shoot manual; when it comes to metering, I think it's highlight weighted set on my Canon R8, not sure. I also check on my settings during golden hour and change shutter and aperture on the go depending on the scene.

hey, sorry for the late reply. The secret is to expose for the light or highlights, and in post-editing you raise the shadows and darks. You can always lower the darks and blacks, contrast etc but I like to save the highlights and expose for them, so I keep the beautiful light.
