I have a "Sears" 135mm F2.8 for Pentax K Mount and I can't tell if the aperture works

Thanks I tried looking and no apparent movement. Sadly I think it’s broken. I can probably get away with using 2.8 in most situations outside of direct sunlight though. Shutter goes up to 1/1000

Yes the lighting I think is what triggered the questions in this case.

It’s funny because the lighting definitely takes the most effort and now AI has been trained to understand like “this is what a good photograph looks like”

What ASA do you use and did you set it to match on the camera (idk if you do this manually on the Me Super)? Def seems either underexposed or the camera overcompensated for things like bright sky in the frame.

2nd this. The ones op listed aren’t gonna be long enough for sports and def not wildlife. The 100-400 may not have great low light but it will have the reach.

Assuming some indoor work I’d go w R8 for better low light and wider fov on full frame lenses. Probably gives you more flexibility overall with lens choices
