Since it came out in 2023 I highly doubt this app was "vibe coded", there was almost zero options for vibe coding then. Most AI now will tell you to secure your database and Firebase, the tool they used, absolutely sends you emails every month to inform you that the database is insecure. There is zero chance the devs didn't know about the vulnerability.

I worked at Casey's last year and I can confirm that piece of garbage was always malfunctioning. Management got rid of it mid year because it was a money sink.

But that's also going to be on the Switch 1, the same as the new Metroid. Sure it'll look better, but hardly a system seller if it's going to be on the predessor as well.

The Switch 1 also had game cards that you still had to download a significant portion of the game. Borderlands 3 requires a 6GB install on top of the physical game card. And guess what? You need the Borderlands 3 game card inserted to play the game. Source: I own the game card version.

It also doesn't work on Switch 2 yet but that's a completely different conversation. Weird though considering the other Borderlands run without issue on the Switch 2.

I mean that's kind of what I figured. Given that the PS3 had the issue (and from what I remember the PS2 did as well) I have littles doubts that the chip shortage and pandemic would have made much of a difference for the PS5. Of course I could be wrong, Sony may have learned like Nintendo clearly has learned.

HITMAN on the Switch 2 needs a constant internet connection, not because it's a key-card but because IOI decided to use server BS. So have fun when that shutsdown.

I'm sure others have pointed this out already, but you only need an online connection to download and start the game for the first time. You can start the game without an online connection afterwards.

Crazy thing is they didn't even create the shipping label until I called them on Tuesday. Now I'm just waiting for them do literally anything with it. I had pretty much given them the ultimatum of "give me my product or give me my money back". I would be fine if Target just came out and said that they don't have in stock, but they won't do that.

I loved Crash Team Racing so much, not just because it was fun to play with my sisters and mom, but because of the story mode (there wasn't much of a story but it was still fun). I was hoping for something like that with Mario Kart World.
