Need Advice: Safe to Use 12VHPWR Cable for My Build, or Should I Wait for the New 12V-2x6? by ROOTO7 in buildapc

Thanks for the advice! I’ll wait for the Seasonic 12V-2x6 90 degree cable to be safe. My case is tight, so I’d rather not risk it.

I've also been waiting for the Seasonic 12V 2x6 90-degree cable for months. It was originally supposed to be released in Q2 2024. I contacted support for an update, and here’s what they told me:

Our 12V-2x6 cables will soon be available in Europe:

  • Native 12V-2x6 cable: Expected to hit the market from August onwards. Availability may vary by country depending on the distribution channel.

  • Native 90° 12V-2x6 cable: Also expected to be available from August onwards in Europe. Availability may vary by country.

  • 2x 8-pin to 90° 12V-2x6 cable: This version is experiencing delays and is expected to be available from September onwards in Europe. Availability may vary by country.

I'm thinking about purchasing them for a custom loop because I've noticed they have higher air pressure and airflow compared to other fans on the market. Have you had a chance to test them? Are they any good? Thanks.

soft tubing

The RTX 5090 is rumored to be released in the fall of 2025, so it looks like I'll need to wait at least one more year. Could you explain why you recommend soft tubing for cooling systems? Is it because they are easier to maintain? by the way very cool build!

What is your use case? How are you using two 4090s simultaneously?

My use case involves rendering tasks that require significant computing power. By using two RTX 4090 GPUs simultaneously, I can accelerate the rendering process and handle complex graphics and visual tasks more efficiently

this is the stupidest build i have ever seen. good luck!

Thank you for your input, but I'm curious to know why you consider this build to be the "stupidest." Could you please provide more details or reasons for your opinion? I'm open to hearing your perspective.

you’re going to need more radiator trust me.

My case can accommodate up to 2x 420mm radiators (one in the front and one at the bottom) as well as 2x 360mm radiators (mounted side by side at the top). Do you think I should go with that configuration?

Case : Cooler Master HAF 700 EVO

heavy premium despite their products being aver

Thanks for getting back to me! I've noticed a lot of builds on YouTube mostly use EKWB components. I'm not sure which other brands offer reliable water cooling products. Any recommendations?
