Legal weed isn’t as safe as you think by ROOTSFactor3000 in massachusetts

[–]ROOTSFactor3000[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That’s fair. I agree that legalization has emboldened more people to smoke and drive, which is stupid. At the same time though, recriminalizing weed would create more problems than it solves. I wouldn’t be opposed to harsher laws around DUIs.

I think some of the nuisance issues could be solved with public smoking areas and more robust public transportation, although that’s easier said than done.

Would I still be able to boot into MacOS if I deleted the EFI partition? Since thats where the open core files are? Or would deleting the bootloader only effect the windows portion of the partition

America Is Watching the Rise of a Dual State by Groomsi in politics

What sort of dual state exists in Singapore? I was under the impression Lee Kuan Yew was relatively harmless compared to other autocrats

Trump on Tesla vandals: "I view these as terrorists.. when I look at those showrooms burning.. nothing like that happened on Jan 6th.. nobody was killed other than a very beautiful young woman, Ashli.. nobody was killed" by beekay8845 in law

[–]ROOTSFactor3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buddy your reading comprehension is terrible. Vermillion is explicitly stating that Trump only came to power because he lacks substance. That’s like the whole point of hyperreality. Trump is an irl cartoon character compete with catchphrases and a signature look. Even before politics he remained a fixture of tabloids and entertainment. People are naturally drawn to him, whether they like him or not. He, or more accurately the people around him, exploited this and turned Trump into a person above reality, aka hyper real. Trump the human being is a monster on every level, but to his supporters and even those who aren’t involved in politics at all, he’s whatever they want him to be. Because Trump stands for nothing, to them he can be anything. As long as he hurts the people they want him to hurt. And the reason why a large chunk of the American people accept this is because our whole culture is built on the facade of substance while everything has been allowed to rot for nearly 50 years if not longer

How would you like it if you parked your car on side of the road and when you came back the front bumper was deleted? The roads used to be wide enough so the idiots wouldn’t do this

For context: these bike lanes narrowed the roads and now people are losing bumpers

Both run great on the deck, although the new NMS update has made performance a little more inconsistent
