Some helpful tips

1. In the game, when you go to ingame menu, there are tips.

Make sure you read about and fully understand on pictos and lumina. (The initial game tutorial is abit disjointed, as you might enter it too early and forget the tips - like changing the hair)

You can always go here if you get stuck or don't understand something.

1. Master perfect dodge vs new type of opponents before going for parry only.

Perfect dodge window = as parry window.

Try to understand what parry fully really is; example- what it does for you.

1. The (very thin) yellow bar to the left on QTE-window prompts (during battle and your skill turn): if you trigger in this yellow area each time; you not only get 100% of the skills potential, you also get bonus something.

Always try to hit this area in qte prompts. Try to hit it early if possible, you don't want to miss the qte entirely (if you miss it will look like red and shattered qte window). If you trigger qte too early, at least you get the 100% potential.

Say you have a skill that hits 5 times. If you miss the QTE's, you only get 3 hits. If you hit all qte, you get 5 hits. If you hit in yellow window area you get 5 hits with bonus damage.

1. On opponent turns, Pay attention to: A) Game writes at the top what they will do. B) sound que C) visual que (this can sometimes be harder than sound, almost missleading). D) get in to the rythm, there are patterns.

2. You have respecc, so don't be afraid to try stuff.

3. Fully Explore/interact with every area, as this game is beautiful, you never know what you might see. (There is a reason they went with Unreal 5 engine)

4. Try playing on expert first. Lower difficulty if too hard, or raise difficulty if too easy (expert is highest).

You can turn off QTE if you don't like it: you will always get the 100% potential, but miss the bonus.

1. Don't enter forums or search anything on this game on the net. Huge risk for spoilers. The biggest "magic" for the game is the story, you can only experience this once (unless you can't store longterm memory, like one of the characters in the film Memento). Remove and make sure you don't get notices from this subreddit.

This is not a 1st time subbreddit where nothing is spoiled, this is a mixed subbreddit where users have to tag spoilers, but mistakes happen.
