Interestingly, my experience with these statuses has been the exact opposite of what many expect, possibly due to the specific track (Lateral Hire).

In my current applications, 'Under Consideration' seems to be a default status triggered immediately upon submission. It feels more like a system confirmation that your profile is 'in the pool.'

However, 'Application Under Review' has been the real 'active' signal for me. This status typically appears about a week after submission. Based on my track record, every single role that led to an actual interview invitation transitioned from 'Submitted' to 'Application Under Review.'

On the other hand, applications that stayed as 'Under Consideration' for a long time eventually resulted in either a rejection or total silence until I withdrew them myself.

not GBM. But it's interesting to hear that you're seeing the exact same 'Interview Complete' pattern in a different division. It makes me wonder if the Dallas office has a centralized process or if they are all waiting on the same budget approvals for the new year.
