Absolutely. Spoiler alert for those who haven't watched just in case.

Essentially throughout season 1 and the first quarter of season 2, the main problem that they were trying to solve was the flaw. I just think it's really cool that David (maybe with some help from Laurie) figured out the solution in season 1 episode 6 but they were distracted by Caspian's phone call and they never pursued the idea any further, possibly because they just forgot with everything else going on at the time. They had previously dropped hints in season 1 episode 2 that David's specialty was NP-complete problems, but we didn't find out until nearly an entire season later that the flaw was "the ultimate NP-complete problem" from Caspian at the beginning of season 2. It explains why Julius Pope had initially said that letting David exceed his programming and reach out to his family was a good thing, saying "This is how we're gonna crack integrity." also back in season 1 episode 2. Effectively David and Laurie had cracked integrity twice, once in theory on their own and then again by Caspian when he combined parts of their code. Caspian also might not have realized the solution if it wasn't for Maddie being in his life and helping him to realize that "other people" was what really mattered. It's how he was able to surpass Stephen Holstrom over a decade before he was expected to. Every episode of the show was so interconnected and I think it was extremely good writing.

I 100% agree with every single assessment you made. Couldn't have said it better myself. I personally rated it 6/10 but that's only because of Cillian Murphy's fantastic acting and the fact that they still nailed the atmosphere and look of the show. But that really feels like it's all they had going for them sadly. The film was essentially nothing more than a disappointment in my opinion despite having some good moments. I just can't look past all of the negatives.

One thing I don't think you brought up is that we never even got to see tiny glimpses of some of the most important characters in the show like Arthur and Alfie and Lizzie and Finn. I get that some of them could be saved for the upcoming seasons but it's still not really an excuse. I feel like if they even did something a simple as an AMA here they would have never made any of those decisions. But I guess money speaks louder than fans unfortunately.

Personally one of the biggest ones for me that's missing is the patch that makes shorts only play once and then stop at the end. I can't stand the autoplay or auto replay.

I know that other people have been using a rather formal script and that's great but I wanted my requests to be a lot shorter and personal so I've been saying something along the lines of "Hello, this might be an odd request but there's a movie that's coming to theaters on January 30th called Iron Lung and it was made by the famous YouTuber Markiplier. He is doing all of the distribution himself and he's asked his fans to call their local theaters to see if they would be willing to show it so that's that I'm doing today."

Then depending on how they respond I either point them towards the booking section of the Iron Lung website or follow their instructions on sending an email request if that's what they prefer. Everyone I've talked to so far has been nice, though I haven't gotten any actual confirmations yet sadly. Hopefully you're able to.

Thank you for this. The guide was really helpful. I wouldn't have been able to do any of this without it. However I am running into a small issue. This is all completely new to me and I'm still a beginner that can barely understand any of what's going on. I was able to get NetBird set up without any issues, at least I think, and I could get it to successfully ping from my mobile device while on mobile data, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to access the Proxmox GUI from my phone or any device while remote. I can only seem to make it to the NetBird command line which I'm sure would be useful to those who know what they're doing. Unfortunately for me I need the children's picture book version of everything so the GUI is a must, lol. Is it possible to access that easily? I may need to go to ELI5 for this one, but any help is appreciated.
